Stillwater Counseling
My Story
Since graduating from UMaine in 2009 I have worked as a teacher, coach, wilderness guide, program director, grant writer, consultant, and therapist across Maine and New England. When not working I enjoy spending time with family, walking in Orono's wonderful trails and neighborhoods, canoeing, and biking. Since 2019 I have worked as a clinical social worker and utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy. I look forward to centering my practice in this community and working with the families, students, and organizations that make it so unique.
My Practice
Orono Counseling and Consulting Services provides a range of services including individual psychotherapy, therapeutic groups, and consulting services for businesses, teams, and organizations. The wide variety of life experience, support systems, race, cultural norms, gender and sexual identity, and an individual’s relationship and history with stress or traumas are vital considerations in treatment. In all service lines my practice is affirming, trauma informed, and person centered. I work closely with clients to establish a working relationship focused on your goals and desired outcomes.
